Who we are and who shapes this project with us

The YouthMove15 project (Youth-centric Mobility and Activity in the 15-minute City) fosters child-friendly 15-minute cities by repositioning them around the needs, experiences, and rhythms of children and young people (CYP). A transdisciplinary consortium of 26 partners uses mixed methods to diagnose and bridge the “desire-opportunity” gap in how young people move and take part in neighbourhood life.

Our aims

Key objectives

Based on the identified research gaps, YouthMove15 has three key objectives:

Deepen knowledge of CYP’s activities, mobilities, and desires in proximity contexts.

2. Co-Envisioned Enhancement

Work with CYP to envision how their activities and mobilities can be enhanced as part of a 15-minute city transition pathway using innovative tools and technologies.

Researchers translating findings into policy guidance
3. Cross-Cultural Transferability

Foster knowledge sharing and transferability, while recognizing and accommodating diverse social and cultural contexts.
